Impedance converter is essential connecting hardwork for signal transmission matching between two different transmissions mediun.In the application of G.703,these two kinds of transmission medium are 75ohm unbalanced coaxial cable and 100ohm balanced twisted-pair.Balance means that two channels transmit signal in different ways.Unbalancede means that a channel is grounding and the other transmits signal.Impedance converter makes BNC and RJ-45 physical interface achieve matched junction internally.
